Near and Far can be places in perception. When I was younger it seemed I was always looking past the things near to me, and reaching for the horizon. The best things seemed farther away, or maybe just barely beyond my grasp. I liked it that way.
There is an art in wanting what you have. Not in a limited way, but because Near and Far are here both at the same time. Now I like it this way.
