Spring training has begun for our elite and highly competitive Infinity Farm Synchronized Napping Team. New coach this year, too.
Anna Blake, Infinity Farm.
(WordPress Photo Challenge is a weekly prompt to share a photo–I enjoy twisting these macro prompts to share our micro life here on the Colorado prairie. My photos are taken with my phone, on my farm. No psych, definitely not high tech.)

My kind of competition! Love, Rio
Rio rocks. Horizontally.
I’d love to sit in the middle of that triangle!
You’re welcome, the goat is usually there though. ; )
What a wonderful photo-bomb, Arthur.
Shy with people but not cameras?? Goat reality is incomprehensible .
Arthur is perfect for the job. He has an eye for talent.
It’s not close to coincidental. He’s always right there! What a sneak.
Arthur would like you to know it’s actually all about the goat. (thanks!)
Your herd is bound to take a first! Great coach.
Thanks, Sharon. You know some of them have been competing for the last 30 years. Experience counts.
That is so adorable! We are enjoying our snippets of sunshine in Oregon as well! I so look forward to your
blog and photo postings Anna….very thoughtful,
soulful, humorous, and informative. Have a great week.
Thank you, Sharon. It has to be spring soon, right?
You know, I live in a county called Orange Cty – for a very good reason….the soil is orange. These guys look so white! My fleabitten appaloosa might look very different at your place!!! Great picture…don’t you just LOVE goats!
Orange soil + Shedding?? Bad! (Thanks for letting me feel a bit better here.)
You can feel even better yet, I had just about the same view today only they were reclining in the squishy, sloppy, stinky muck! Now the sorrel and chocolate mares are the same color as the dun donkey.
Heheheh. Well, we do have mud here…just not today. You might consider just waiting for it to shed out. Another month or so…
Always love your photos and comments. This one really tickled me. Thank you!
Thanks. Goats are good ticklers.
Team Napping–splendid idea!
Thanks. It’s serious business to these guys. Okay, me too.
So adorable! I’m really enjoying your weekly photos and essays. Thank you.
I might spent too much time in their company. No, I take that back. Thanks for following us.
Loved this one, Anna. Keep on blogging and snapping these photos. You have given me much to think about, some tears and many smiles. Happy Jolliffe from Northville, Mi.
Thanks, Mary. Happy to keep at it…
Now that’s just too funny!
Thanks, Laura. It’s goat magic.
Me, too. The first heron returned today…Spring! Thank you, Sharon.
