For competition do you braid the longer sections? This would solve the problem of hairs pulling when the neck is flexe
Practicality?? Not a chance. Not a clip for competition- Dressage is humorless about this. It has to be braided or roached all the way. I do this for fun off season. In this case, it was an injury that retired this horse forever, and his wrapped tendons are out of frame. I thought a salon day would cheer him up, he is that kind of guy.
He’s a knight from a chess board!
I would LOVE to see this in any arena, but especially in a dressage arena. It’s handsome, rugged, and FUN. Briarcroft nailed it. Exactly like a knight from a chess board. Perfect!
