A gentle twist, a rolling curve, and a suspension of disbelief. Because why should braiding a mane be any less artistic than the ride?
Andante (Belgian X TB) is loved, ridden, and braided by Leslie Middleton. Glad to have them in the herd with us at Infinity Farm.

WordPress Photo Challenge is a weekly prompt to share a photo- I enjoy twisting these macro prompts to share our micro life here on the Colorado prairie. My photos are taken with my phone, on my farm. No psych, definitely not high tech.
The gentle giant’s mane reminds me of the way the grass lies after a windy storm has passed. It is elegant, yet creatively wild.
Gorgeous braid. Leslie and Andante are hair fashion-forward. I read an article recently that the latest beauty trend is braid bars. It all started in New York. Instead of going for a blow dry bar (to get your hair straightened–lots of those where I live in SoCal), women go to get a fancy braid. I’m sure there would be many women envious of Andante’s beautiful locks. 🙂
Thank you. I can tell you there is a certain young filly here who is very jealous, too. Andante is a humble horse, kind of love him getting this attention!
Beautiful!
I take no credit for the wonderful braid, but thanks for commenting!
