Listening to a blog one day driving along and heard this lady called Anna Blake talking about something which I often think long and hard about, just trying to find a better way to understand horses. I wrote her name down and that night I started stalking her on Facebook and the internet, that was about 4 years ago and I still find myself Wanting to know more, so here I am. Thank you Anna, and my horses thank you too.

Hi Anna you let me know if you ever want to catch up and soak up some of our beautiful sunshine, even just for a short conversation.

Hi I’m Ben, I live with my 5 horses, well 3 are mine, the other 2 are my wife Raelene’s horse and my daughter Ashleigh’s horse, and well maybe they live there and I just get to be there with them some of the time and to feed them as dogs look after their needs. We live in Hervey Bay, Queensland, Australia which is very nice, to find where Hervey Bay is just find Fraser Island and we are right beside that on the mainland. We have a very mild climate all year round which suits us all. My main horse is Henry, then I have a young one called Groot and a spare called Diego. I seem to learn something new every day from all my horses, sometimes even in spite of myself, they are my world and I consider them to be part of our family.at the moment Henry is recovering and getting back into shape from his hoof operation and I ride Diego occasionally as well. We love to ride on our local beach and we are lucky enough to have some nice trails starting right at our front gate. Unfortunately my work takes a lot of my time so I don’t get as much time as I would like with the horses, some one has to keep them in the style they are accustomed to, but I am grateful for all the time I do get as they are at home and even when I am busy with work I still see them morning and night. I appreciate Anna’s way with the horses and have gained so much benefit from this site and you all over the past 12 months, sorry I did not introduce myself sooner, I can be a little stand offish and can find it a bit hard to make the words come out right. I guess that is why I like Anna’s writing as well as it sometimes says what I am thinking far better than I could. I don’t have to buy her books now either as she may eventually read them all to me, hehe. Thank you Anna. Anyway I will start to join in with some videos and things over time. Bye.
