Hi there, FB sounds good. A private group so members of writers group can read it or maybe a two stage thing where can draft and then publish to group after feedback? With live chat, time differences a consideration (eg: i’m in Australia)We can share here on this page and members can read it. Or have a secret page on FB with live chat, or try to meet on Zoom/ videos or live. How should we do this?? Input please.

Anna, so grateful for chance to work on writing in this way!

Yep, like some others, consistency and finding a structure is a challenge.
Also, not being shy about others reading it and not being a perfectionist about writing!

Thank you Anna for sharing your experience, including the blog and now The Barn.
After several years of enjoying the blog (the articles, poetry and photography), I’ve joined The Barn and am looking forward to the experience.
There are 3 horses in my life. Two mares: Songbird, a former pacer with lovely spirit (who didn’t win enough races it seems!), Ash a gorgeous girl(with some Welsh pony in her) keeping Songbird company and making clear she feels the need to keep Songbird in line. They’re both at my partner’s property.
Babe, my stoic stockhorse gelding, who at the moment is on agistment close to my city home. Babe is the horse I currently ride…
As well, there is Andy, my darling 10 year old blonde Labrador, my partner’s 4 year old enthusiast border collie Zac, and 3 city chickens too, who have turned any grass I had into a meadow of bare earth and weeds.
I am a late bloomer, who at about 3 years old dreamed of “getting to know a horse” and now, decades later, it is happening. Over the years I sought out horses for trail rides (and more often than not apologised in advance to the horses for my skill level). About 5 years ago a friend opened my eyes to the world of communicating with and listening to horses. Keen to learn and “unlearn” when needs be.
Writing is another passion – again, keen to step into that more, to learn and “unlearn”! -
