Thanks for sharing your journey. I will try doing nothing. Or better yet, I will do nothing. It’s so hard eh? Yet clearly it comes so easily to our horses.

So happy to find this group. This past year I’ve been drawn to writing. It’s been years since I wrote— I’m definitely more drawn to images and colors than words. But it continues to call me. I’ve joined a writers group that, no coincidence right?, is led by a writer I’ve admired for years and is right in my neighborhood. So that starts up next week. Meanwhile, I’ve been overthinking what to write about. I just need to start somewhere, why not horses! I live in Manor, TX with my husband, 2 quarterhorses and 2 doodle mutts. Although I rode as a kid (Roman riding of all things!) I got back into horses late, and always felt inadequate. Nothing I did seemed to be right and so much of what I explored jut seemed wrong. Except for the horses. And I always and still tend to look to others for answers. I’m just now getting that I have some of the answers. And have so many amazing resources, Anna among them, that I trust with the questions I can’t answer. How on earth can I expect my horses to trust me when I don’t trust myself??? So here goes!
