Photo Challenge: Shadow

wm-shadow-blurred

I mean to blur the edge,
a half-stop between dark and light,
of the distance between us.

He’s walked on from this place
but just over my shoulder,
his shadow warms the ground.

Afterglow.

  2. Lovely, Anna

And in this case, I often feel the warmth of my 18-year old Siamese Snowshoe cat, Tinky, he brushes past my legs now and then and I look down — no cat is there.

Sometimes I see Joseph, my Irish Draught horse from my childhood and teenage years, galloping across the afternoon sky.

    Always with us, they wait.

    Love, Nuala

  3. Oh so lovely Anna! I dream of the days when my shadow reconnects with those who have gone before and I can thank them for all they taught me that I never fully realized when they were corporeal. Those lessons everyone who came after benefited from and built upon.
