Time and shadow blurred our edges until we became each other in a shared breath never fully exhaled.

Stunning, piercing… Heart breaking, in that ‘broken open’ way.
Thank you deeply
That’s what it takes to ride well, I think. Thanks, Melissa.
Thank you again for your feelings/thoughts about life/your life ✳️
Thanks, Kathleen… for reading and commenting. Otherwise, I’m one of those women talking to themselves. 🙂
Anna Blake for President!
In a world where this makes sense, we should all be very afraid. (Thanks, Lynell.)
NOT as afraid as many of us are at this point, Anna!!!
Amen to that!
Beautiful, Anna. You reached deeply into my heart.
Your written words insure that you will NEVER be talking to yourself.
Hehehe. Thanks, Jean.
So beautiful Anna….brought tears to my eyes!
It might have been a good horse in your own barn that brought the tears. I just poked you to remember him. 🙂 Thanks, Sharon.
He is never far from my thoughts and my eyes. I love your words and your consciousness!
Dear Anna In the days since I read of Spirit’s last journey, I’ve struggled to respond. Yet it’s not about me and my struggle, but about you and Spirit and the life you shared. How blessed that you found each other – and were able to be a part of each other. My heart aches and celebrates – hard to hold the duality of feeling but it’s there. A profound loss in the physical, being with you sense and a joy that you could grant him this last gift. Sending you compassionate energies as you navigate this – and holding hope that he’s once again healthy and frolicking in a green pasture waiting to be discovered if he hasn’t been already. Heart-felt love to you, Patricia Spencer (one of the many who benefit immensely from your words!).

Thank you, Patricia. I appreciate your kind words. I’m not sure that it isn’t about you, too. Words can be pretty hollow until they get personal, and I always know that my feelings are not remotely unique. We all bleed love for our horses. Thanks, again. Here’s to frolicking.
I have to say, there is no joy in granting that final gift.
No joy; maybe some relief for him.
Beautiful companion to your beautiful piece capturing the joys and griefs. Thoughts to you xx
Thanks, Dee.
Anna, that was so beautiful. And the picture of the white horse touched me so as my Gabby was white and I lost her this spring. Riding and just being together. I’m 88 and am ‘sort of’ looking for a new horse. I have always had one or two. But nothing touches me as ‘the one’. I’ve just discovered your blog, and hopefully it will remind me what to do. Thank you.
Sorry for your loss, Shirley. And there is something about a white horse, isn’t there? Have fun “kinda” looking, and thanks for following along with us here.
