Weekly Photo Challenge: Curve

wm sibling heart

The mingling of moist breath,
the warm embrace of a curve,
the uncomplicated wholeness

that we covet. And the guilt
we earn when we destroy the
beauty we can’t rise up to meet.

This blog is free, and it always will be. Free to read, but also free of ads because I turn away sponsorships and pay to keep ads off my site. I like to read a clean page and think you do too. If you appreciate the work I do, or if your horse does, consider making a donation.

  1. Love your picture today!! Take time to focus on what is important. How is Arthur doing? Still think he would make a wonderful main character for a children’s book. You are just the right person to put pen to paper. Thanks for sharing, Judy Ahrens

    • Thanks, Judith. Arthur is finally out of his cast. His leg is wobbly and weak, I worry that he will re-injure it, and he lives for the horses. So he gets to be with them again during the day…and I worry. And If I had as much time as I had ideas! Thank you.

Do you have another book on the way?

    • Thanks, Sharon. I’m working on a book of farm stories, rescue stories, and well, what this old gray mare thinks… Very slow going right now…but I have to work while the weather allows. Job one is always to buy hay. I have grown to love the photoblogs because I challenge myself to say more with fewer words. Thank you!
