Weekly Photo Challenge: Distorted

A distorted image can still tell the truth.

This is a shadow on a cold and very windy, winter day. I am working with Clara, a young filly. We are preparing to do some ground driving, but more than that, laying a foundation of partnership and trust. Clara has a bright future. The image is bi-color and flat, but it tells me all I need to know.

WordPress Photo Challenge is a weekly prompt to share a photo- I enjoy twisting these macro prompts to share our micro lives. My photos are all taken on my farm, with my phone. No psych, definitely not high tech.

This blog is free, and it always will be. Free to read, but also free of ads because I turn away sponsorships and pay to keep ads off my site. I like to read a clean page and think you do too. If you appreciate the work I do, or if your horse does, consider making a donation.

  1. It’s amazing how a simple shadow can create a dramatic, stunning image leading to many possible existing stories….cool photo!
