Life Imitates Art:
Reclining Nude
(Rubenesque)
From the first cave paintings to the most contemporary work, artists across the spectrum have found inspiration in horses and women. The other word for that is beauty.

Best Monday morning wake up call ever!
Certainly a favorite view of mine. Thanks!
That is great Anna!!
Thanks Maria. Grace is a beauty.
My pleasure! Yes, she is!
those haunches and the beautiful tail – definitely Rubenesque\!
And so coy! No wonder horses are so prominent in art through the ages.
absolutely lovely, as are all Rubens!
No skinny girls here! Thanks for commenting.
Tasteful without being gaudy….lol
Hehehehe! Grace is kind of an Old Church Lady of a Centerfold. Thanks for cracking me up.
LOVE!
Thanks, Michelle.
Love it!
Thanks, from you “name” I assume you look at one of these a lot, too!
Hi Anna, Not yet! I have had to create connected web presence for a Uni assignment over the weekend so decided to create a theme about reigniting my childhood passion for horses. I have 12 days to go to complete my degree. Planning to swap my study time with horse time. Can’t wait! Haven’t ridden in years (hence, horse AND rookie). Will start with a few lessons and go from there. So excited. Jen ?
Lessons is a smart way back; good for you!
