To be Owned by a Dog.
Says Tomboy the briard, “She is mine and I must protect Her. She’s very busy here at the farm or when we go in the truck. There is much danger; I never take my eye off Her. It’s a very big job. But sometimes She sleeps, and I can lay on Her chest and our hearts beat very close. In those moments, my passion to protect Her softens to quiet love, and knowing: She is mine.”

WordPress Photo Challenge is a weekly prompt to share a photo- I enjoy twisting these macro prompts to share our micro life here on the Colorado prairie. My photos are taken with my phone, sometimes just as I wake from a nap. No psych, definitely not high tech.
The little red collar trouble maker from the litter…that’s our girl!
Linda, thank you forever. I have never been owned so well.
Truly charming, that photo, that eye. You’ve nailed it.
Thank you… she is a bit relentless.
