Weekly Photo Challenge: One Shot, Two Ways

WMnaBacksideThere are always two ways to see things. On one hand, horses can look like big, dull beasts of burden, not capable of much on the intellect side. Sometimes ‘horse’s ass’ is the insult of choice between humans.

WMnaFrontsideLook at them from a different perspective, and those asses are the high power end of a sentient animal with acute senses, and a heart big enough to forgive and share, if only you will humble your ego and ask to come inside. In other words, they reveal about as much as we are willing to see.

WordPress Photo Challenge is a weekly prompt to share a photo- I enjoy twisting these macro prompts to share our micro life here on the Colorado prairie. My photos are taken with my phone. No psych, definitely not high-tech.

This blog is free, and it always will be. Free to read, but also free of ads because I turn away sponsorships and pay to keep ads off my site. I like to read a clean page and think you do too. If you appreciate the work I do, or if your horse does, consider making a donation.

  1. Thanks, Val. Thinking of your herd, there is not one there who isn’t at least 20 miles deeper than we know… Love and miss your herd.
