An autumn shrubbery, ornate as a paisley tapestry, is gone on the wind,
Rustling ahead of a polar flip toward winter’s invariant prairie.
Hurry Spring. Just as quick.

There are those enamored with this time of year that portends the days to come. Love your pic. Love this time of year. The days to come…not so much!
Hibernation does have a certain appeal, doesn’t it? (Thanks)
Just beautiful, Anna! I love this one.

Wow – your leaves put ours here (NY) to shame! Actually ours are pretty much gone now. We’ve had some gorgeous 70 degree days the past week and in NOVEMBER! Which is unusual. I’m sure it wont be long before I have to put snow tires on & start bundling up to walk Suzy (dog). She loves the snow – me, not quite as much!
I agree with Barb – heal fast!!
Ours are gone now, too, since I’ve been locked up. I hope winter goes as fast.
Locked up?? Imprisoned?? It sounds as if the winter blahs have gotten you even before winter! I imagine all the creatures are missing you – hope you can at least look out the window – or are you crutching out to the barn?
Really nice! Tapestry is a perfect title!
Thanks, Stephanie. They are long gone now!
Beautiful! Hope you frame this one too!
Thanks. This is a wall of the duck pen; they miss the shade already. Thank you.
